How to get started…

I have banked with FNB from the time that it was still Barclays DCO when I got my first salaried job in 1965. When the Encore account for seniors was introduced it was a leader in the banking business. This has been watered down over the years so that it is no longer the leading product that it was. The same has happened to eBucks which used to be a great way to buy all sorts of things. Now scoring eBucks has become so out of reach that it is not really worth trying to get rewards anymore.

For me, I think FNB is, if not one of the top 3, it certainly deserves to be number 1. Yes all banks have their flaws but with my experience, you can’t go wrong with banking with FNB. Young or old, it just has a great way to interact with all ages.

I only ever reached bucks level 3 until I changed to Encore gold. I have now reached level 5. The rules have changed this year for savers (i.e to include saving/investing to increase a level instead of borrowing). Agree that the benefits/value of ebucks not as good as before.

I’ve banked with FNB for 20 years and won’t change. I agree, ebucks is not what it used to be, it is more difficult to earn them but there are options to look into if you have the time.

I joined FNB when I was first employed by them in 1993. I recommend everyone to join so have had friends and family move to FNB or open an account with FNB. I am one of those brand loyal FNBers and although my bank was not there for me in my time of need a few years ago I am generally happy with the service they have given and continue to be loyal

My first bank account was with Barclays DCO in the year tut. Then went on to the Encore account when I went past a certain age. Sadly, to earn eBucks has become a nightmare, so I don’t even try anymore. If I qualify for eBucks for the month, then great – if I don’t no stress. But I must say, I do miss being able to top up with eBucks, and fill my tank, rather than using the available cash. Enjoy the facilities and am happy overall with FNB – the eBucks program can be re-looked though. I feel I need a degree to understand how to earn eBucks.

I also would like to know why easy account holders cannot earn e bucks. It would be a great help

Have you tried using the calculator on the ebucks web site to find out how to earn/qualify for more ebucks

I like FNB because of the easy access to banking, life is much more easier because when I want to make transactions I do not have to wait to go online I just use my cellphone banking and the ewallet is so handy, so far I enjoy this services
